I cannot believe how quickly it is has gone; our big day seems like ages ago – plus, we’re now closer to our honeymoon in Sicily than we are to our wedding day!! Crazy!!
Married life is great. I said to my friend recently when she was in a stress about her wedding, that crossing over to the ‘other side’ is AMAZING – all the pressure is released and you feel normal again. There’s no worries about organising things (and organising other people!), you have friends/sisters/cousins instead of Bridesmaids again, and issues with the wedding that seem massive at the time seem like nothing at all now!
Now my wedding report is finished (though check out tomorrow’s article about my tips & hints), we have something new starting on LLLM!
We will still be featuring other Real Weddings and showcasing great suppliers as we did before, but from now on Tuesdays will be renamed as ‘Tip Tuesday’ as we will be sharing wisdom from married ladies to help you along the way! We will also be putting together themed mood boards to give you inspiration, and finding the best deals online and on the high street for you to take advantage of!
Plus my wedding journey isn’t over just yet! I still haven’t done our photo album (more on that another time) and we have our honeymoon coming up in May which we are REALLY looking forward to!!
And remember, please get in touch! I love hearing from brides and I will help out where I can with planning and ideas. I still have loads of planning files on my computer that I’m more than happy to share, as well as stationery/sign templates!
My lovely husband and I have been married for a whole 4 weeks today!!
Time has absolutely flown by! Its strange to think that one month ago it was Christmas Day, we were 3 days away from getting married and our spare room was full of wedding boxes! I’ll gush more about happiness when we hit our 1 month anniversary on Tuesday, but married life is pretty fab!
Here’s another sneaky wedding snap taken by one of our guests for you all to see….
Now my big day has been and gone (both a ‘wahhh’ and ‘yay’ feeling) I am starting to write my wedding report!
For those of you who have not heard of these before, it is basically a detailed account of the wedding planning process, with links to suppliers, tips and hints etc – imagine one of my Real Bride articles and times it by 10!
Because I was engaged for A VERY LONG TIME, I will be releasing our story in ‘chapters’ over the coming weeks so that I don’t bore or bombard you with it all in one go!
The majority of the text is written already because my shiny new husband has had to go back to work this week (definitely a ‘wahhh’ feeling) and so I’ve been twiddling my thumbs! I haven’t got any photos back from my photographer yet so I shall wait for them before I release any articles!
We are off on our mini-moon on Monday, so I will definitely share some photos with you when we get back!!
Here is a sneak peek of a photo from our first morning as Mr & Mrs!
We don’t look half bad considering we went to bed at 1am and the cleaners at our venue woke us up at 5am!!
