For some reason, having a buffet for your wedding is looked upon in a negative way in comparison to a multiple course meal. However for our wedding, we are shunning tradition and going ahead with having a buffet.
We’re having a buffet of two parts; a hot selection and a cold selection. The hot selection consists of roasted chicken, BBQ’d meats, veggie lasagne, chilli con carne and curries. The cold section includes cooked meats, Cornish pasties, seafood, pasta, rice, salads and fresh breads. We feel that having a variety of food on offer is more likely to please all our guests than just providing one set meal. It helps accommodate people’s likes and dislikes, allergies and intolerances and vegetarianism and veganism.
